This blog is dedicated to all my family and friends, ones I see often and ones I don't see because of distance or busyness of life

I am a mother of four blessings, two little ones - 8 and 9 and two big ones, 24 and 21.

We live on a few acres at my family's home place. I can see my mom's house from my front door. When I bought our house and had it put in place you could not see my mom's house for the trees. Many trees have been cleared. Our place is still not exactly where we want it to be but it's a long place from where it was, kinda like my life spiritually.

On our little piece of heaven, that at times seems more like torture (clearing land, upkeep, etc.) we find some respite (rest) and lots and lots of interesting things. In other blogs I'll share some of the interesting things we find such as stag beetles, plants that heal (plantain) and more.
