Life as Blooms in the Desert

The wilderness and the desert will be glad, and the Arabah will rejoice and blossom; like the crocus it will blossom profusely and rejoice with rejoicing and shout of joy. Is. 35:1-2a

My life has been a desert wasteland too many times. Things, people and more get in the way of seeing what true life is all about. I know who Life is - "I am the way, the truth and the Life", John 14:6. When I allow the Lord full access to my heart and mind - the desert again begins to bloom.

My journey through life has taken a different path than I would have planned but it has been a profitable path in my growth. I am so grateful the Lord has taught and is teaching me to walk the path He has ordained for me. Walking His path has not been easy but has blessed me and matured me. It has enabled me to share with others how they can also trust Him to lead them rightly because of how the Lord has led me.

May I have less and less of the desert without blossom and water, but even if I am in the desert, may I continue to bloom and grow. May I learn ever faithfully to "Abide in Me, and I in you, as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me." John 15:4
